Scanning and identification

Stone Shelf requires a live internet connection for the Scan tab. Identifications are sent to our API and may take 5–10 seconds on the first request. If a scan fails, try better lighting, fill the frame with one stone, and ensure you have not reached the daily free scan limit.

AI suggestions are educational only. For valuable or safety-sensitive specimens, confirm with a qualified expert or lab test.

Subscriptions and billing

Stone Shelf may offer optional subscriptions in a future update. Purchases would be billed by Apple through the App Store. Ampliora does not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds.

  • To manage or cancel a subscription, go to iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
  • For billing disputes or refund requests, contact Apple Support.
